MY WHY

My journey began Labor day weekend 2000 when I survived a car accident in which I was ejected and died on the scene. I was life-flighted to UMC hospital in Las Vegas and the doctors called my family and told them I was not likely going to survive. Once I woke from my coma, I was suddenly celebrating my 24th birthday in the hospital. After 30 long days, I was glad I had health, disability and life insurance in place as my medical insurance paid over $500k, and since I couldn't walk or work for a year, disability paid my bills. Lastly, I am one lucky gal, I clearly beat the odds of those who are ejected from an accident, with only 25% of those who survive, well, my family didn't need that life insurance.

What I learned from this was to take a deep introspective look at where I was heading. From there, I was the first in my family to graduate from college. Upon successfully completing an internship with an insurance company, I decided to help other families with protection, so they too could have the peace of mind to know that if they didn't come home their family, business, or partners would be ensured the show would continue, albeit without them.

Over the past 10 years, I have had the distinct pleasure of doing just that, from making sure the new young family had adequate coverage, to helping my high net worth clients plan a tax free retirement, to the disability policy to cover that female executive, the long term care policies to ensure that my 65 year old's client's son or daughter wouldn't have to be the next "sandwich generation" statistic, to creating the blueprint for financial freedom in retirement. I am honored and grateful to help become my client's trusted adviser.
